A very curious bus
In Spring 2026, we will be launching our "Field Unit" - a small bus outfitted as a mobile creative studio for kids.
This bus is a community effort, made possible by Agents of Goodness, like yourself. Yes, you. The person reading this.
The Department of Curious Things is a small, but mighty operation but we need your help to bring what we do to even more kids. If this is something you want to see zooming around your community (responsibly and within the speed limit, of course), then continue on. There are lots of ways you can help get our Field Unit on the road!

Phase 1
Phase 1 of this project is all about obtaining a bus, getting all the paperwork filed for it, and making sure it's ready for service!
The estimated cost for Phase 1 is $10,000.
Phase 2
Phase 2 is the build out! Once we have a bus that is cleared for take-off, we'll begin the process of converting the interior to include lots of workspace for kids to explore their creativity and curiosity!
The estimated cost for Phase 2 is $15,000.
